Fourth annual Winterfest celebrated
The college’s fourth annual Winterfest was held December 3. Featuring an indoor community craft fair, illuminated ice sculptures, photo opportunities and sweet treats, students, faculty, staff and Norton residents participated.
The annual Holiday Vespers Concert in Cole Memorial Chapel concluded the event, where the Wheaton Chorale and Chamber singers performed songs from varied cultures, under the direction of Assistant Professor Alexandra Lutkevich.
Congratulations to this year’s winners of the Winterfest Cookie Contest. First place went to Mark Lin, a business intelligence analyst in ITS, followed by Toriana Roe ’27 in second place and Sriya Bodapati ’27 in third. The Dubai chocolate cookie, the cullinary creation of Scout Lowrie ’27, earned the “President’s Choice” accolade. During the spring semester, Aramark will feature the winning cookies among its offerings.
The college continued its practice of collecting non-perishable food items for the Wheaton Food Pantry and the Norton Cupboard of Kindness during the event, which was sponsored by Arts at Wheaton and the Office of the President.
