Regional Scholar Stephanie Funt ‘11 interned for Congressman Sam Farr and Assembly Member Bill Manning in Salinas and Monterey, CA. Stephanie is majoring Sociology and minoring in Legal Studies. She writes, “I was interning for California politicians during some of the most important and news-worthy events in decades. At the state level, California was in a budget that threw the citizens into a panic, and I was able to assist the office in their effort to reassure their constituents.”
