Balfour Scholar Lina Smith ‘12 interned at InterVarsity, in correlation with FOCUS Uganda, Come Let’s Dance, and ChildVoice International in Kampala, Uganda Gulu, Uganda. Lina is majoring in Sociology. She writes, “As a part of the internship program, I spent five weeks with a group of twenty New England college students learning about the issues that Uganda has historically faced and issues with which the Ugandan people continue to struggle.”
