Dana Schwendner ‘11, Fairfield County, CT
Wheaton Fellow Dana Schwendner ‘11 did a research project in Fairfield County, CT. Dana is majoring in Sociology and minoring in General Education. She writes, “I studied learning disabilities and how students with differences were seen by teachers, students, parents etc., specifically in high schools in Fairfield County, Connecticut. My research provided me with inspiration for not only my thesis, but also for a career in the future. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and I learned a lot about myself along the way.”
