Jillian Boucher ’11
Balfour Scholar Jillian Boucher ’11 ventured to Puriscal, Costa Rica to volunteer abroad through the program Cross Cultural Solutions. Boucher, a mathematics major with a minor in secondary education, said she chose to volunteer with children in Costa Rica “as a way to utilize and strengthen my Spanish-speaking skills, as well as prepare for my future career as a teacher.”
