2015 Wheaton Fellows

Fifty-four Wheaton students will be fanning out across the globe this summer to extend their learning through internships and research projects funded through the Wheaton Fellows Program.

The program is designed to help students undertake educationally meaningful domestic or international experiences that link to academic or career interests. These can include internships, service/volunteer experiences or structured independent research.

Recipients receive a $3,000 stipend to support experiences of six to eight weeks during the summer break. Many of the Wheaton Fellow stipends are named for benefactors whose gifts to Wheaton have made the awards possible. This year’s Wheaton Fellows include:

  • Myah Bartolotta ’18, a neuroscience major, will intern at UConn Health Center
  • Kelley Baylis ’17, an English major, will intern at Good Housekeeping Magazine
  • Everett Bertrand ’18, a history major, will intern at Androscoggin Historical Society
  • William Blackmer ’16, an international relations major, will intern at Catholic Charities of the East Bay
  • Anthony Bowden ’16, a business & management major, will intern at Shipyard Brewing
  • Nakola Cameron ’16, a psychology & AAADS major, will intern at Total Achievement /JRI
