Senior athletics achievers
Wheaton’s senior class was outstanding during the winter season.
Michaina Loriston (pictured above, center) placed 17th in the 60 meters at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship to finish just outside of All-America designation. Her teammate, Jaz Vanderhoof, broke the college record for both the 3000 and 5000 meters, while Nick Lacroix, Kristen DiBella, Michaina Loriston and Anika Wagner were all named All-Region for indoor track & field.

Garin Stone finished 32nd in the 200-yard freestyle at the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championship.
Gavin Cullinan and Brian Hixson won NEWMAC titles in the 200-yard backstroke and 100-yard freestyle, respectively. Will Larson was named Second Team All-Conference for the men’s swim team, while Vivian Van Holland, Talia Dalton and Emma Claire Lambert-Shemo also earned Second Team honors for women’s swimming.

Regan Keyter netted her 1,000th career point in her final career game for women’s basketball. Eoin Morrissey and Tristan Herry also notched 1,000 points for their respective careers and men’s basketball closed out the season with its first appearance in the NEWMAC championship game since 2005.
Olivia Macdonald was named Second Team All-MPSF after placing second in the solo category at the MPSF Artistic Swimming Championship.
