Roger Stackpoole

Roger Stackpoole serves as the vice president of Finance and Administration, which includes offices of Business Services, Conference and Event Services, Finance Office, Information Technology, Human Resources, Campus Safety and Physical Plant.

Stackpoole came to Wheaton from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, where he served as chief financial and administrative officer since 2006, overseeing finance, facilities, information technology, human resources, enrollment management and auxiliary services.

At Le Moyne, Stackpoole played a leadership role in guiding strategic and master planning efforts that resulted in a variety of new initiatives—from enhanced administrative services and new programs to a $160 million investment in new and renovated campus facilities. His collaboration with the provost was identified by peers as an exemplary partnership.

In addition, Stackpoole was a member of the founding team of the Upstate New York College Collaboration, a consortium of 15 public and private colleges and universities for which he has served two terms as president. He also has been a leader in the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) as well, serving on its Board of Directors and as president of the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers.

Prior to Le Moyne, Stackpoole held posts as assistant treasurer and controller at the Rochester Institute of Technology, controller at both Hobart and William Smith Colleges and St. Lawrence University, and associate controller at Colgate University. He began his career as the supervising senior in-charge accountant at the Syracuse office of KPMG. He earned a bachelor of science in accounting from Le Moyne College and an MBA from Georgetown University.
