One-Minute Plays: Our Response
October 22, 2016
This special presentation of plays created by the Wheaton community explores ideas of equity, inclusion and race. It reflects the college’s collaboration with Trinity Repertory Theatre, Community College of Rhode Island, University of Rhode Island and the Southside Cultural Center with the City of Providence to create a body of locally made one-minute plays. The effort is inspired by the nationwide theatre initiative Every 28 Hours. Wheaton’s plays were developed in a workshop facilitated by One-Minute-Play Festival’s Dominic D’Andrea and Trinity Rep’s Joe Wilson, Jr. Join us for this special evening when theater is activism and our community takes the stage.
