Wheaton’s El Sistema Connection

When he’s not leading Wheaton’s violinists as Chamber Orchestra Concert Master, Jorge Soto teaches children in the El Sistema program at the Conservatory Charter School in Brighton, MA.  Jorge is a graduate of the famous Venezuelan El Sistema, upon which the Boston area program is based.  Recently, the students at Conservatory Charter School were featured on Tavis Smiley Presents on PBS.
