Great Woods Symphony Orchestra – Spring 2017

Comprised of Wheaton students, faculty and members of the public, the 60-piece GWSO, under the direction of Associate Professor of Music Delvyn Case, will present Dvorak’s New World Symphony, one of the most famous symphonies in the repertoire. Virtuoso trombonist Achilles Liarmakopoulos, a member of the world-famous Canadian Brass and a Haas Visiting Artist, will also join the orchestra in a concerto performance. Suggested donation $5.
