Emily Tran
Emily Tran ’11. My fall semester abroad in Vienna, Austria followed by the January faculty led trip to Trinidad and Tobago, was an inspirational part of my Wheaton experience. In Vienna, I developed a deep connection and love for classical music. This music suddenly connected more than ever to my life and the world around me. There I met passionate musicians, artists, and individuals and learned an incredible amount about myself. These revelations continued on the Trinidad and Tobago trip. The energy from the panyards and the sense of community was immeasurable. These two experiences, although different in nature, played equally important roles in revealing the power the media that I resonate most with has in making sense of our world and my place in it.
