DBR Collaborates with Wheaton Students

World-renowned violinist and composer Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR) opened up a year-long residency at Wheaton with a collaborative performance in the Kresge Experimental Theatre on October 1, 2015.

Daniel led students in a performance of his Hip Hop Etudes, then worked with Wheaton’s step-dance team, S.O.L.E.  to create a collaborative improvisatory dance number.  DBR will return to campus in the spring to perform music by Wheaton student composers and perform along with the Great Woods Chamber Orchestra. DBR’s residency is sponsored by the Loser Music Fund with in the Evelyn Danzig Haas ’39 Visiting Artists Program.
