BSO violinist Victor Romanul solos with Great Woods Chamber Orchestra

Virtuoso violinist Victor Romanul of the Boston Symphony Orchestra joined Wheaton’s Great Woods Chamber Orchestra in a performance of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto on May 6, 2012.  The concert also featured a solo by tenor Gavin Mackie, ’13, winner of Wheaton’s annual Concerto-Aria Competition. The 10-member GWCO cello section rounded out the concert with a performance of the Requiem by David Popper.
