February 22, 2017
Synesthesia is a neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sense automatically leads to involuntary experience in another. Assistant Professor Leslie Amper will offer a multi-media recital/lecture featuring composers and artists with synesthesia. The recital, featuring music by Mozart, Liszt, Ligeti, Beach and Scriabin, will be followed by a discussion about synesthesia and its effect on the artists.
