Story Circle with Robbie McCauley

Through “Story Circles,” renowned theatre artist and educator Robbie McCauley engages people in the process of creating a relaxed atmosphere for talking about complicated matters. Professor McCauley guides participants to be present as individuals while also engaged with others, which heightens their ability to listen and talk. The process is based upon practices from several cultures, particularly indigenous peoples of this country who use the talking stick to cue conversations. The methodology is a a simple one, and participants will be encouraged to become facilitators themselves.
