André Nerman and his troupe La Compagnie Caravague perform Eugene Ionesco’s La leçon (The Lesson) in French. One of the great dramatists of the post-world War II period in France, Ionesco pioneered the theater of the absurd, combining dark humor, philosophical questions and political commentary in often nonsensical or surreal stories. Performed in French with no subtitles.
