Faculty Lunch: Creating a Process
Wheaton-Emerson Writing Fellow Molly McGillicuddy kicks off this year’s faculty brown bag lunch series on March 20 in PDR 1, from 12:30-200 with “Writing Research as Process: Designing Assignments to Enhance Exploration and Critical Thought.” Molly will talk to faculty about ways of sequencing writing assignments so that students can identify questions and explore ideas as part of their research processes. The talk will include samples of assignment sequences and plenty of time for questions, suggestions and tales from the classroom. Faculty and staff who have suggestions for writing brown bags or who would like to offer a talk should contact Lisa Lebduska ([email protected]).
