The Boston Consortium on Gender, Security and Human Rights—
Working with the Consortium has taught me that while it does take a lot of time and strong efforts to maintain a non-profit organization, the best reward is that of knowing that you are making a difference in the community. I end each day at the Consortium feeling grateful and accomplished to know that I am helping sustain an organization that makes great contributions to the advancement of women. I am most proud of all of the tasks I have conducted with the Consortium, whether small or large, they each contribute to the progress and success of the Consortium. I have really enjoyed working in such a dynamic environment, where everyone can feel as though they are part of a community, a family working together towards bringing awareness. I know that with my enhanced work ethics, integrity, dedication, and passion I can apply these skills to any future career. I hope to apply the skills I’ve acquired while interning at the Consortium to Law School, while continuing to work towards protecting the rights and freedom of women both domestically and abroad.
