Courtney Gilman ’15
Women’s Studies major Courtney Gilman ’15 spent the summer as an intern at the Family Violence Project in Maine, assisting women in abusive relationships or families receive support, education, and help through the agency’s many services. Gilman attributes her desire to help women to the various Women’s Studies classes she has taken at Wheaton. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career that allows her to advocate for women nationally, as well as internationally.
