Simon Saradzhyan is the founding director of the Russia Matters Project at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. Prior to that he worked as a deputy editor of The Moscow Times, a senior fellow at the East West Institute and as a consultant for the United Nations and the World Bank. His latest research project focuses on causes of terrorism and insurgency in Russia.
