My research interests transcend the intersection between law and politics. I am primarily interested in examining how judges influence public policy through their interactions with the other branches of government. I am currently working on revising my dissertation into book form. The project looks at how the interaction between state legislators, justices, and the broader political environment has influenced the tort reform movement.
