UPDATE: Parker ’12 wins regional conference award!

Laura Parker (Neuroscience Major; Class of 2012) just been awarded the Marjy N. Ehmer, Ph.D. Undergraduate Student Poster Award for her conference poster entitled “The role of video game experience on reentrant processing: Exploring object substitution masking effects”. This award (which includes $100 and a certificate) is given by the New England Psychological Association (NEPA) for the best poster presentation by an undergraduate student first author at the 51st Annual Meeting of NEPA. This research project was conceived of by Laura and was conducted in collaboration with Assistant Professor Jason E. Reiss and Associate Professor Rolf Nelson.
