Professor Lectures at the Cervantes Institute in Tel-Aviv
Professor de Alba was invited by the Cervantes Institute at Tel-Aviv (Israel) to lecture about the 80’s Spanish cultural movement la Movida. His lecture, “La Movida madrileña: máxima emoción, mínima forma,” focused on the visual arts and argued for a new approach of la Movida taking in consideration the artist’s approaches to art, their precursors and a the long-term view on their works. The lecture was attended by Spanish Ambassador Iranzo, and the first Israeli Ambassador to Spain Mr. Shmuel Hadas.
