Preserving Wheaton’s legacy: “The main reason I joined the board is to make sure that we preserve Wheaton’s legacy at a time when higher education is in flux, and promote what makes liberal arts colleges successful. I’m excited to be part of developing ideologies and thinking of innovative ways to keep Wheaton relevant and to serve both current students and as well as the alumni community.”

Wheaton influences: “My favorite professors were Joel Relihan and also [the late] Grace Barron, my thesis advisor. I loved the First-Year Seminar I took with Professor Relihan “City and Soul in the Ancient World.”

Fun facts: “I am avid traveler and amateur photographer. I continue, when available, attending Gentlemen Callers events. I’m also actively involved in the Gentlemen Callers Alumni Union, for which we finished a campaign to raise funds for an endowment that supports this group.”
