My Reason for Serving on the ABD:
From my very first day as a freshman at Wheaton College I was introduced to the Wheaton Alumni Association, and subsequently met a cohort group of alumni who would nurture me, and support me throughout my four years at Wheaton. To that end, they instilled in me the importance of giving back to Wheaton, and becoming an active participant in the alumni association. I stand today because of the Wheaton alumni who stood with me during my time at Wheaton. It is the honor of a lifetime to be in service, and serve on the Wheaton Alumni Board during these extraordinary times.
Wheaton Influences:
Wheaton has had an important influence on my life, it was at Wheaton that I had the opportunity to explore who I am as an individual, leader and just overall human being in this world. At every important milestone in my life Wheaton has been there, and been a part of the village that has cheered me on, and supported me in monumental ways. Wheaton will always hold a special place in my heart. Wheaton is not just a college, it is a family and once you become a part of the Wheaton community you will never be alone, and you will have a worldwide family.
Fun Fact:
It is a dream of mine to hike the Pacific Coast Trail.
