Professor to lecture on the Spanish Civil War.

Professor Fernández de Alba was invited by the Spanish Department at Bryn Mawr College to lecture on the Spanish Civil War. The lecture centered on how his Wheaton course involved students to reflect on the construction of memory through texts and images. With the collaboration of a local veteran of the International Brigades, students participated in the recovery of memories of the Spanish Civil War and used the materials they compiled to complete their final projects.
