Grant Park
Wheaton alum, Candice J. Nelson, recently had her manuscript Grant Park: The Democratization of Presidential Elections published by the Brookings Institute Press. Candice J. Nelson is an associate professor of government at American University in Washington D.C. She is the author of three additional book: The Money Chase, Campaign Warriors, and Elections American Style. Her most recent manuscript,Grant Park, examines changes to the presidential process over four decades through the metaphor of Chicago’s Grant Park. Candice credits Professor Jay Goodman for inspiring her to pursue a career in political science.
