Translation as Cultural Negotiation

Author and translator Ken Liu discusses the origin of Chinese science fiction through the translation of western books, and his own translation of the Hugo-award winning novel The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin. Liu will also provide some background on translation theory and the modern conception of translation as a matter of cultural negotiation.
