Professor Mathis talks about Wheaton’s Honor Code
In the first Flash Seminar of the 2012-13 academic year, Stephen Mathis, Associate Professor of Philosophy, discusses the characteristics of social contracts and why Wheaton’s honor code and other codes of conduct don’t fit the mold.
The Flash Seminar Series is a student-run program of short lectures on current and engaging topics. Lectures are announced online; attendance is capped at the first 15 people to sign up. The intent is to create an informal venue for intellectual conversations outside the classroom.
