Regional CS Conference
On April 7 and 8th, three Wheaton Computer Science students, Katie Merin ’17, Kristina Reddy ’17 and Emma Steffens ’18, attended the Regional CS Conference in Albany, New York. The CCSCNE (Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges within the Northeast) runs the conference. The challenge was to answer as many programming problems as possible, competing against other teams. The three students, also known as “Team Wheaton”, came in 9th place out of 32 teams. The Computer Science Department and especially their Advisor, Professor Gousie, are very proud of them!
