Vaccines, Mercury & Autism: Where’s the science?
Modern medicine assures us that vaccines, now mostly mercury-free, are safe and vital to public health. But many see growing evidence of chemical and environmental contributors to the epidemic of autism.
In the dense and sometimes confusing air of advocacy, energetic fund-raising, and quickly-disseminated (and sometimes retracted) research findings, autism has become a ‘canary in the coal mine’ pointing the way to a new understanding of many medical conditions. It also gives early warning that medical and behavioral sciences have a challenging future.
The Talk is scheduled for Thursday, April 21 at 12:30 in the President’s Dining Rooms.
