Dania Tonelli ‘10, Kanab, UT
Barbara Shalita Samuelson Fellow Dania Tonelli ‘10 interned at the Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, UT. Dania is majoring in Psychobiology. She writes, “As an intern I was responsible for caring for the animals as well as socializing and training them. I chose to focus my time working with the horses and the dogs and I was given a project dog to work with. The dog I worked with had many behavior issues that I had to help her with in order to make her more adoptable.”
