Griffin Patria ‘12, Norton, MA
Shouse Fellow Griffin Patria ‘12 interned at Wheaton College Costume Design Project in Norton, MA. Griffin is majoring in Hispanic Studies. He writes, “For my fellowship I researched Eva Perón, Jackie Kennedy, Grace Kelly, Marie Antoinette and Queen Elizabeth to figure out what they wore, and how they got to power by using their feminine images. I improved my sewing skills immensely and I learned a lot about period costume and historical fabrics and patterns.”
