Kirkpatrick publishes with recent alum

In the January issue of Pharmacology, Biochemistry and Behavior, Assistant Professor Meg Kirkpatrick and Wheaton alumna Liana Merrill ’09 published their research entitled “Effect of systemic blockade of α1-noradrenergic receptors on sex behavior and vaginal cervical stimulation-induced Fos in female rats.”  The publication represents collaborative work Merrill and Kirkpatrick presented at annual meeting of The Society for Neuroscience in 2009 in Washington D.C..  Liana is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Neuroscience program at the University of Vermont.
