Congratulations, Eryn Hoang!

Congratulations are twice due Eryn Hoang, latest recipient of the 2018 Littlefield-Mandell Prize in French Studies. This award was established in 1965 to honor Professor E. Dorothy Littlefield, a member of the French Department from 1926 to 1967, and then renamed in 1972 to honor also Professor Lena L. Mandell, who taught at Wheaton from 1941 to 1973 and remained a campus presence for many years after her retirement.

Ms. Hoang ’18 has also been chosen as a teaching assistant through the TAPIF program: she’ll be leading English classes at a lycée in the north of France next year.
