Academic Festival Celebrates Writing!

Wheaton’s Academic Festival celebrates student creativity and research in all disciplines on Friday, April 26 in Balfour Hood, from 12:30-3:30.   Come to Balfour to see poster presentations on buffleheads and turkey vultures. See demonstrations on liquid nitrogen ice cream and the history of needlework. Hear original songs and watch original ten-minute plays. Listen to papers on topics  ranging from Cleopatra to racism in the U.S.  Everyone is welcome at this twenty-two year old tradition honoring thought, originality and student scholar spunk.

The Festival will conclude with a music recital in Cole Memorial Chapel at 4:00.
