The Locke Workshop

Professor of Philosophy Nancy Kendrick recently presented a paper at the Locke Workshop at the City University of New York Graduate Center.  While there, she visited the Morgan Library with other presenters to see two first editions of Locke’s Essay Concerning Human Understanding, as well as a handwritten manuscript (Draft C) of the Essay made in 1685. The conference, which took place on April 7-9, 2016, was organized by Jessica Gordon-Roth ’04, currently Assistant Professor of Philosophy at CUNY-Lehman College and soon to join the Philosophy Department at University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
