Conservatory and Programs Manager | Michael Howard Studios | New York, NY

What I enjoyed most about Wheaton was the support and freedom I was given. My professors stressed the importance of finding what you cared about in a piece of literature, defending what you believed and pursuing your passions in and out of the classroom. With the small classroom size and the ability to openly debate, I was able to fine tune my analytical skills while maintaining my creative energy. Wheaton fostered an environment in which I wasn’t afraid to speak up, to think outside the box or pursue my interests fiercely. Those ideals have allowed me to work in many different areas of the arts, as a Casting Associate, Literary Associate, Assistant Education Director and Literary Manager in regional theatres as well as a Literary Consultant at literary agencies. Currently I am the Conservatory and Programs Manager at Michael Howard Studios in New York City as well as a Co-Producer of a playwriting series at Collaborative Arts in New Brunswick, NJ and have seen two of my plays produced. It is with the knowledge that I can build my own path and the support of the Wheaton Community that I never hesitate when opportunity arises and continue to pursue what makes me happy.
